When Mike first met Tia, he introduced himself and then kissed her on her cheek (way to pull out all the stops Mike!!). From there on out, they both ‘wooed’ each other and have continued wooing one another for the last 7 years :) We first met Tia and Mike 2 years ago while photographing their friends’ wedding; this whole group of friends has become very dear to us over the past few years and I was over-the-moon excited about this day to be here and to celebrate with them!! We started the day with a first look and portraits at Leroy Oaks Forest Preserve and downtown Geneva before heading over to Riverside Receptions for their beautiful ceremony and reception. Mike proposed to Tia at Steve’s Flower Market, so it was only natural that they also did the florals for their wedding too and oh my goodness were they beautiful!! There are so many parts of this day that I love, from Tia’s impeccable taste of colors (those bridesmaid dresses – wow!!), to the confetti poppers and champagne photos, I could go on and on. But what we loved most was watching these two be completely adored and loved by their friends and family, and celebrating their lifelong commitment with them!! Tia and Mike, thank you for having us be a part of your day, we adore you guys!! Enjoy the pictures :):):)
