I have been so so so excited to share this blog post! My sister in law and her boyfriend have been together for just a little over 2 and a half years, and have had no professional pictures taken together yet…so I knew when we were visiting on vacation that we had to do a beach session of the two of them. They both have served in the United States Army and Navy – Jessie was a part of the 10th Mountain Infantry Division from 2005-2009, and was deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. Joey served in the Navy on the USS Thorn and ACU 4 from 2001-2009, and was also deployed to Bahrain. We went to Sandbridge Beach in Virginia Beach, VA near Little Island Park. It was gorgeous – no tourists, lots of sand and space to just have fun. I absolutely LOVE the way that Joey makes Jessie smile and laugh, and that “look of love” that he gives her when he thinks no one is watching (we’re watching Joey – and it’s adorable!).
