As a Chicago-area wedding photographer, I absolutely love photographing weddings at Fishermen’s Inn. The rustic charm, sweeping views, and warm indoor spaces offer the perfect backdrop for timeless wedding photos. Maeve and John’s day was filled with emotional moments, joyful laughter, and beautiful details — all of which made for unforgettable memories (and photos!).

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Maeve and John had poured their hearts into this day. Their spring wedding featured elegant floral arrangements by Janet Gallagher of Designs by Janet, perfectly complementing the venue’s natural beauty. Soft pastels and lush greenery brought the space to life — especially during their outdoor portraits.

Maeve looked stunning thanks to Total Image Hair & Makeup, who created a classic bridal look. John and his groomsmen kept it timeless in sharp suits, adding a modern touch to this rustic spring setting.

After a heartfelt ceremony and portraits around the venue, the celebration continued inside the beautifully restored barn at Fishermen’s Inn. The Mix Band kept the dance floor packed all night with their incredible live music and energy.
