I have been waiting to do Carly and Jon’s engagement session since before they were even engaged – yes, you read that right. Before they were engaged. I remember meeting with Carly a year ago (she’s a fantastic makeup artist for weddings and we were having some coffee in the winter like all wedding vendors do!!), and hearing about Jon for the first time then. I knew from that moment that they would not only definitely be getting married soon, but that if I had the honor of photographing them I would be such a happy photographer!! We went to the Morton Arboretum for their engagement session this past Saturday, and had a wonderful time hanging out with the gorgeous weather and beautiful autumn leaves everywhere. Carly and Jon are so so cute together – constantly giggling, hugging, and smiling at each other. I cannot wait for their wedding next October, enjoy the pics!
