Melissa and Mark met in 2006 at a swim meet in high school. They became best friends, and stayed friends even when Mark left for Coast Guard Academy a few months later. Through letters, emails, and phone conversations, the two realized over the years that they could potentially be more than friends, and they officially went on their first date in June 2013. They were engaged in May of the following year, and started planning their beautiful coastal-themed wedding (you can remember their autumn engagement session on the Naperville Riverwalk here). Their day started off with a beautiful first look and portraits at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, and then an emotional ceremony followed at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Naperville. The Hilton of Lisle-Naperville is where their reception was held, and I loved all of the coastal decorations, especially the sword used to cut the cake! :) Melissa and Mark genuinely have some of the best personalities around, and they truly truly love one another. Jason and I had SO much fun with them and their families, and are super excited to share this beautiful Spring wedding! Enjoy!
